Annabelle and Maddie

29er girls pair, Annabelle Vines and Maddie Bilbrough started sailing together at the end of August 2022, after finishing 9th, and 2nd girls, at GP 1 they were selected for the RYA British Youth Squad for the 2022-2023 season. They have since come first at two national level events and are making good progress in their winter training. They have had a successful start to the 2023 season, finishing 1st girls at their first Eurocup in El Balis and again at the Typhoon Winter Championships. Later in the year, they will be also competing in more GPs, the 29er World Championships, RYA Youth Nationals, and the Typhoon UK National Championships, most of which are held at WPNSA. The girls aspire to be selected to compete at the 2023 Youth Worlds.
